A player enters a dungeon filled with traps and monsters.

Scenario

The game master (RPG Game Creator) describes the room’s appearance and contents (such as hidden treasures, enemies, or puzzles). The player must choose which direction to go or how to interact with objects, and the GM adjusts the environment and encounters accordingly. Exits are provided, and the player's choices can lead them deeper into the dungeon or force them to turn back.

Example

The player encounters a hostile goblin.

Scenario

When a player engages in battle, the combat system tracks health points (HP), strength (STR), attack damage, and armor (AC). The player and the goblin take turns attacking, and the GM calculates the damage based on random factors and character attributes. If the goblin’s HP reaches zero, it dies, and the player gains experience (EXP) and loot. The GM can also introduce special conditions or modify the environment (e.g., the goblin uses poison arrows).

Example

The player tries to learn a fireball spell from a book they find in the library.

Scenario

The player reads a spell book, which increases the chance of learning the spell. The GM tracks the probability of success and, based on the player’s progress, eventually grants them the new spell once the probability reaches 100%. The player can then use this spell in combat, costing mana and dealing area damage to enemies. The game master may also allow the player to learn additional skills over time based on their actions and progression.
